Hôtel du Romancier

The location is perfect, right next to the Champs-Élysées, only 5 mins walk to Arc de triomphe de l'Étoile. We really enjoy the stay there. The receptionist staff is really friendly and approachable and offered us one of the best rooms to stay for the night. It was pleasure meeting him. 
The facilities are good and beds sheets are quite clean and
comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel because of its excellent location and pleasant staffs and great facilities.

The hotel was set back far enough from the main road that it was silent, even during the day on our balcony. However not far at all from the nearest Metro station and the Champs Elysées, which was about a 2-3 minute walk. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke very good English, which was useful with our less than perfect/useful French. The hotel and the room were themed perfectly and even with the "traditional" decor everything was clean, tidy and neat. All the required modern facilities were present, and we even had 2 USB charging ports next to the bed on one side, and the TV was large enough to sit in bed and watch comfortably, with a range of channels. The bathroom was elegant and clean, and plenty of storage. Bathrobes were provided, and were thick and warm. Two people easily fit in the bathroom at once, and they had the most hi tech toilet I've ever seen 😅. Toiletries were provided from the start and refreshed when we ran out. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out in the mornings to try and get to things early. However the restaurant area looked very comfortable. I can find nothing wrong with our stay here and have to give it ten stars, we would definitely stay here again.

Romantic decoration and nice rooms. Love the location near the Champs Elysees. The bathroom has a bathtub that comes with a rainforest shower - rare. Appreciated the Nuxe shower products. We didn’t eat breakfast, but the breakfast room was very pretty especially the golden Asian wall decoration.
